Tracking for ads
The app asks once whether it may use your advertising identifier. To change your answer: iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking › Emaús. With tracking off you still see ads, just less relevant ones.
Ad consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If you were shown Google's consent form, you can review your choice in the app at Profile › Ad privacy.
No ads at all
Subscribers to Emaús Chat do not see ads.
Spiritual profile
Every question is optional. To change or erase your answers: Profile › Spiritual profile. Erasing it stops its use in reflections, journeys and the Chat.
Chat conversations
Conversations are stored on your device. Delete any conversation by swiping left on it in the Chat's history; uninstalling the app deletes all of them.
Notifications
Choose which reminders you get in Profile › Reminders, and turn "News and campaigns" on or off there. To turn off all notifications: iPhone Settings › Notifications › Emaús.
Use without an account
You can explore the app without signing in. Nothing you do is synced to our servers.
Access, export or correct your data
Email info@getemaus.com from the address linked to your account. We answer within 15 days.
Delete your account
In the app: Profile › Delete account. This deletes your account, spiritual profile and synced content. Or email us with the subject "Delete my account".
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell personal data. If you are in California or another US state with similar laws, the sharing of your advertising identifier with Google for ads is controlled by the tracking setting above: turning tracking off opts you out.
